The completely foam-padded lower compartment protects photo equipment, while the large top compartment holds a light jacket, lunch or other necessary items.

The Tamrac Expedition 9x is part of Tamrac’s award-winning Expedition Series. It was specifically designed to accommodate a DSLR with a long telephoto lens attached such as a 400mm, 500mm or 600mm lens and will also carry and protect other lenses, a second camera body, and accessories. A multi-section divider system accommodates long telephoto lenses of different lengths and diameters while the top section supports the camera and cinches tightly to the narrow portion of the lens where it attaches to the camera. The lower section includes two foam-padded, plastic- reinforced vertical dividers and one horizontal divider that can be adjusted vertically to fit varying length lenses. The Expedition 9x has Wing Accessory Pockets that feature Tamrac’s patented Memory & Battery Management System, a Quick Clip tripod attachment system with Tripod Foot Pocket, contoured harness with Air Flow Channels and Dual-Density Comfort Pads, an adjustable foam-padded waist belt and M.A.S. and S.A.S. attachment slots.
