Hob delayed by manufacturer but being delivered at my convenience 12days later than advised initially. Oven was fine. However fridge is defective- there is a defect in lining of freezer compartment, manufacturing fault not damage. However when I rang M&S to report this and request replacement I got shunted between manufacturer and retailer several times with neither accepting responsibility for the problem. Eventually Bosch offered to send engineer to examine and repair product. On examination engineer reported defect and recommended exchange. I ordered through M&S because of good reputation for products, customer service and free and quick delivery times. I have been without a fridge now for 1 wk and this is holding up the fitting of the kitchen. I just would have expected better customer service from M&S,with them replacing a defective product without the hassle of having to get engineer out. If had had bought a defective product in store and returned it, it would have been replaced there and then.

I ordered the item 15 days before delivery date.Two days before the delivery I recieved a call to be told due to problems with suppliers i will not get it on arranged date.I cancelled the order straight away as i can pick one from shop with in 3-5 working days. And no hassle as i can deal with the shop with reputation i am not going to be disappointed.

Was promised delivery, stayed home to receive it. Van driver phoned on morning of delivery to say product not on van.
M&S could not process order for a further 3 days. Obtained goods from other supplier next day.

Very impressed with the whole experience. I was contacted by the delivery agent several times to confirm likely time of delivery. When the delivery was made, all packlaging was removed and taken away by the delivery agent.

I wanted a larder fridge less than 134cm high. When I entered the details it came up with hotpoint. What it failed to tell me was that it was a built in larder fridge which turned out to be totally unacceptable. When I rang customer services as the error was deemed my fault I am to be charged 99.99 to have it picked up. As you can see I feel very angry and will not be using the service again. And I will warn others of the charge and disuade them from using the service. Thankyou...

I was not happy as I received a telephone call the next morning telling me that the product was out of stock. Also as I live in Northern Ireland it would take a lot longer to deliver the machine if I was to pick another one. I was also told that I could not recycle my old machine with the courier.

The only issue was the fact that the delivery scheduled for 7-11am did not arrive within this time slot and was 1.5 hours late and I had to contact the driver to find this out.
Fortunately I had not had to take time off work, but it was still an inconvenience, as I had other things scheduled for that day.

The simple fact that I make repeat purchases with M&S shows that I enjoy shopping with them. I find there delivery service excellent and the delivery staff professional, polite and helpful.
