faultless...ordered 3 books 2 games and a dvd, had a problem with my credit card and was e-mailed to advise straight away as soon as i got the payment problem sorted, items were dispatched and arrived in perfect order the following day. highly recommended service

I ordered a Pure Elan DX20 with delivery 1 to 2 weeks. I then received a e-mail to inform me that the order would not be processsed for another month. After phoning with the promise that this item would be chased up I then received another e-mail putting the order back again by at least another 2 weeks. I finally cancelled, found the item cheaper elsewhere and had the item delivered within 48 hours. Amazon are ok if they have the item in stock, if not beware - do not order!!!

Ordered Christmas presents 3/11/05 with an expected delivery date 1-2 weeks. Account info showed delay after delay. On 14/12/05 account info stated could not deliver before Christmas. Impossible to contact their customer support. They never seem to meet delivery dates on previous orders either.

Placed order on 23rd November for a Christmas Present - Nintendo DS Blue. Notified 13th December that delivery will now be well after Christmas. AND the item is still shown as an in-stock item! This is not the first time have been let down by Amazon - an order placed last year for a Christmas present arrived in time for a birthday in September nine months later! Good prices, zero customer service, items shown in stock clearly aren't.

Ordered a morphy richards kettle 43136 and was sent an estimated date of delivery. Since then have received 3 more emails putting back the estimated date of delivery back by several weeks each time. I am now considering cancelling the order. What I find particularly annoying is the fact that the same product appears on the site at a higher price, and I suspect if I ordered at the higher price it would be here soon enough.

Ordered several items as Christmas presents with plenty of time to spare. Was assured via the website and by phone that all would be well but have continued to watch my delivery date move backwards until this morning it is showing as after December 25th. Very disappointed as I thought I had Christmas in the bag.

I have been shopping with Amazon for several years and have always been amazed at the speed of their deliveries. In fact, sometimes I have placed an order late afternoon and received the parcel the next day! I am extremely impressed. More often than not the original date given for delivery is brought forward quite significantly. Can find no fault with the service at whatsoever.

I ordered a book for an important course I was attending in October, so I ordered it in plenty of time early September, now in late November they have cancelled my order, too late for the course anyway. Poor service and no excuses, would not use Amazon again.

I've been using Amazon for several years, it was good but.. My last Amazon.co.uk order had a huge delay between the estimated despatch on the item webpages & that on my order tracking page. My current order was placed on Saturday with "usually despatched within 24 hours" showing for each item. However, order tracking showed despatch day Wednesday. It is now Thursday, I've just been told they can't find one item, so it will be another two weeks. And there is no news at all on the other item

I ordered a George Foreman Junior Grill from Amazon at the best price I could find on the internet. Tracking the order was easy on their site and the grill turned up on time and with free delivery. I've never had trouble with Amazon and would certainly recommend them on my experiences.

I ordered a drill and paid for 1 business day delivery. The actual time it took to arrive was 6.5 days. I spent hours searching their site trying to contact them, but all emails were returned with the message that I'd tried to send a message to an automated service.

I ordered this product from Amazon on 26/12/04 and was given an estimated delivery time of 2-3 weeks i.e. dispatch time between 15 Jan 2005 to 19 Jan 2005. Since then, I have had another 3 e-mails from Amazon, each time putting the delivery time back and back. By the beginning of March, they were still putting it back another 6 weeks. Out of frustration, I have now cancelled my order and I am very disappointed as every time I search for this item on another shopping screen, they tell me it is available from Amazon!!!

A Sharp R95ST microwave oven was delivered promptly and in perfect condition by Amazon, using the excellent DHL couriers who provided an on-line tracking service that worked well. And when the oven proved unsatisfactory because the control panel was difficult to read (would you believe grey buttons on a grey background!) Amazon provided free return as well as free delivery. They even offered me compensation for my disappointment. What a refreshing change from the many on-line retailers who ignore customers who try to contact them with problems. I shall make Amazon my first choice in future. Highly recommended.

Well I ordered a Dyson Animal from Empire Direct on 7th February and was originally given a date of 9th of Feb. Then an email sent suggested the 10th and then an email on the 10th said that it was not available. I am not impressed to have had to take 2 days off from work to wait for something that was never available.

Ordered some books from Amazon...phoned them after three weeks without delivery and they arranged immediately for new ones to be sent out. Problem was the courier had hidden books packaged in cardboard at the back of my house in the rain without even a note. Amazon good customer services, Parcelforce a louzy courier though.

I have only purchased one item the starlogic dvd player at an amazing £30 this was inclusive of p p the item was delivered within the time scale given i could check where my product was at any time. next time i order something i will be safe in the knowledge that the item will come in one piece and when expected this is one of my only trusted sites on the internet as i am still very sceptical.

already purchased a pair of HP200 philps headphones.i was so impressed at the quality/price .. i purchased a pair of philips HP820,s.Well these are even better as u would expect.The headband auto adjusts to fit .. the cans are light & comfortable.The sound Q is sweet.There is more lo end responce than from the HP200,s .. but both are very simular.The ONLY thing i noticed is that the HP820 is OPEN .. which means U CAN hear the sound outside of the headphones .. but its not too much of a problem if the mrs is watching tv!!! Rate these a good Q pair of cans... U aint gonna miss much detail using these. Excellent value for money . ****/5

Ordered a Casio Exilm Z40, case and 256 MB Kodak SD card on Saturday afternoon and it was delivered at 3.00 pm on Monday. Email confirmation of the order was received on Saturday and a further message on Sunday when the goods were despatched. Well packaged and everything works brilliantly. Bought a Pentax Optio 33LF digital Camera. Web site was easy to use, I was sent an email letting me know shipping date and estimated arrival date. It arrived extremely well packaged and two days early. All this for approx £60 less than anywhere else. Definitely use them again!!
