Pros: Timeless design; takes very little space; works as intended.
Cons: You may end up drinking too much coffee.
The Bottom Line: If you want a good "espresso" from anything that costs less than a few hundred bucks, this is the only thing out there.

Pros: Cheaper, simpler, more durable, and easier to clean than a machine. Faster than drip methods.
Cons: Longer set up time than a machine. Made of soft aluminum.
The Bottom Line: Lasts forever and makes a very good, but not perfect, cup of espresso.
