Nice HD Camera but not perfect,

Pros: - HD camera
- No messy tapes
- 3 MP stills
Cons: - Poor battery life
- no external battery charger
The Bottom Line: This is not perfect and needs improvement, specially on battery but it is perfect one if you consider price vs features and video quality.

A Wonderful HD Camcorder & Decent Still Camera...If You Catch A Sale

Pros: Crisp, beautiful HD video; decent still photos; uses easily removable and inexpensive SD HC cards.
Cons: Joystick control not intuitive at first; expensive if not on sale.
The Bottom Line:

It's not the cheapest way to do video, and it's not the easiest to use, but the Canon HF10 does AMAZING HD video.

Nice optics, terrible battery implementation

Pros: nice form factor, sdhc memory, good optics
Cons: in-camera charging
battery life
external quick charger is expensive
black shows fingerprints easily
The Bottom Line: If you are looking for good optics, and are ready to spend more on expensive accessories this camera is great.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: Incredibly slow in-camera charging at $700 price-point? A short battery-life of 60 minutes at best? External charger a $70 accessory? This is a critical component of any camera, and Canon falls way short on battery implementation.
