HP - You have a winner!! If only you'd...

Pros: Metal enclosure, rugged connector, padded carrying case w/zipper+room for cables.

Cons: PC mounting bay ONLY SOLD with HP computers.

The Bottom Line: Its the best portable external hard drive on the market, hands down. What would make it a no-brainer "must have" purchase is if HP would only sell the drive-bay-mount-thingy separately.

Review: The big bonus of having a 2.5" external hard drive is that they do not require an external power supply; they draw all their power from the USB interface. The downside is that a single USB port cannot provide enough current to power the hard drive...
