Solid Performance, Tough

Pros: Good for home and home office use. TOUGH!
Cons: Software, some jams w/ envelopes, 'calibration' noisy, expensive consumables.
The Bottom Line: I'd buy one again and have recommended this printer to others.

Review: Bought this model after having some bad experiences with other cheaper brands that needed print heads that cost as much as the printer after a few ink catridges, require replacing color inks to print black (Just say NO to Brother!) or don't work...

HP 2840 All-In-One.... One Year Review...mixed

Pros: Print quality, Scan feed & simple networking setup
Cons: Extremely expensive ink and imaging drum. Bloated software package... Multiple All-In-One Problem
The Bottom Line: Great print quality, but expensive ink & imaging drum. Good for single printer use, but software fails with multiple models.

Not For Large Volume

Pros: Good quality of copies and printing.
Cons: Calibration process constantly interrupts printing and copying. Not suitable for large volumes.
The Bottom Line: I would look at other machines which are made by companies with better quality products.

Review: We bought the HP 2840 all-in-one color laser about a year and half ago for a small office, and while the quality of copies and printing has remained good, it eventually succumbed to the Hewlett-Packard curse of an unsolvable problem.
