JVC's HA-B25BU/SL portable headphones use a tri-folding "Band-it" neckband design that's as easy to store as it is to wear. They feature a large, 30 mm diaphragm and JVC's exclusive Super Bass system, ideal for compensating for lost bass in portable CD or minidisc listening. The HA-B25BU/SL's neckband has a rotating disc in the ear cups that let you alternate between five fashionable different colors: yellow, red, blue, green, and black. It also features a 24-Karat, gold-plated minijack (.128-inch) plug configured in a cord-saving "L" shape. The headphones come with a generous 4.9-foot cord and a handy travel pouch.

I hope it was just a defective unit

The Bottom Line: Hoping the B27 model number update fixes the connection problem of the B25.
Review: Fits very well. Light and flexible.

My unit had a terrible out-of-phase error.

This destroyed the center channel (Vocal etc)... and had no Low frequency (Bass etc).

One way to check if your unit is doing the same.....
