Pros: Dispenses with old-fashioned and pesky mechanical mouse ball models, ease to install/use.
Cons: Got a glass desktop? Sorry, you still need a mousepad.
The Bottom Line: Does your mechanical rubber ball mouse give you fits? Mine did, and when it died I switched to the Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse, and so should you!
