The DVDV8000 builds upon its predecessors advanced capabilities to provide professional users with an extended feature set that delivers even greater durability and vastly enhanced picture quality. The players form factor allows for easier rack mounting. The addition of an LCD frontpanel display, navigation keys and separate OSD monitor out makes it the DVD player of choice for both live event and custominstallatio n applications. Ideally suited for commercial, educational or public applications that require constant operation in high traffic environments, the DVDV8000 is our most rugged industrial DVDVideo player yet, with a Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) rating of 50,000 hours. The drive components are enclosed in a sealed, dustproof case with a brushless spindle motor for the disc drive and a stepping motor to protect the optical drive. For advanced computer control, the DVDV8000 offers 9 and 15pin serial interfaces that allow complete control of all of the players functions via RS232C Commands. T
