Dualit Vario 20293 2-Slice Toaster

sure you can buy a million toasters for the price of 1 Dualit, but therein lies the point, it's a dualit, same as Coke is Coke, not a soft drink made from vegetable extract, a biro is a biro, not a disposable ball point pen, and Lea and Perrins is Lea and Perrins, not just worcestershire sauce. At the end of the day, the choice lies in the hands of the consumer, and we chose to buy a dualit, it complements our kitchen, it suits our lifestyle but more important than anything else, it makes belting toast... Sure it takes a few slices to get it right, but once you've found "your setting" then you're away and nothing will touch it, now this alone makes it stand out in world of self righteous toasting devices, but when you add to that, the added value that it brings every time you use it or see, then in my books it's worth every penny of the asking price, if you don't get that feeling, then maybe the Dualit isn't the product for you?
