Bushnell H2O 13-2408 Binocular

I looked at a variety of waterproof binoculars both online and in person. I decided on the Bushnell H2O 8X42 binoculars for a few reasons: 1) they felt balanced and fit my hands nicely, 2) they weren't too heavy, which helps when you are scanning for birds, 3) the single, center focus is easy to use and is very precise, 4) at under $75, the price was right!

I have used these binoculars on the water and on land, and they perform equally well in either environment. They are very stable and I don't notice any discernible shaking of the images at that magnification. Plenty of light at that aperture makes objects you are viewing stand out nicely.
