Excellent printer, outstanding ease of use

The Bottom Line: An easy-to-use, versatile printer that produces photo shop quality prints and costs less than $50
The one striking fact about this printer is how easy it is to use: in fact, you need the manual only because it is so feature-rich that you keep finding more stuff you can do with it.
It can print direct from a camera, memory card (every imaginable kind) and, obviously, from the PC (via USB).
Printing quality is absolutely outstanding: you won't be able to tell pics you printed from this one, from those coming from a photoshop. I was amazed when the first one was cranked out, and we now keep printing pictures (I also found that the price of cartridges is quite reasonable, especially when compared to some other manufacturers' rip-offs).
One great positive aspect is the ease of use of both the "on-board," so to speak, software - the 2.5" colour LCD is very good quality and even a child could use it to print directly from a memory card or camera - and the PC utilities.
It is the way software should be written, simple to use and does it what it says on the tin.
Now, if you consider I paid less than $50 for it, I cannot reccomend it highly enough, especially when compared to a useless piece of junk like the Brother DCP-340 (see my other review).
