Awesome Camera - Excellent Buy

The Bottom Line: I don't want to spend the money on a dSLR and this is an incredible replacement for such. Enthusiasts enjoy!

Big Zoom in a Small Package

The Bottom Line: This is a great carry anywhere alternative to an SLR camera. It provides a ton of flexibility without carrying around a ton of lenses.
Review: The Canon s3is is an awesome camera. It works well in Auto mode for the typical point and shoot user who doesn't want to control it manually, but has manual control modes for more advanced users.

Great camera with little "shutter lag"

The Bottom Line: The Canon S3 IS is the perfect choice for those wanting SLR-like features in an easier to use format.
Review: Much has been written about the Canon S3 IS, and I agree with most of the praise. One thing that I haven't seen mentioned much, and was hard for me to find prior to purchasing, was information on the "shutter lag".
