Great player for all multimedia needs
Pros:
Great sound, touch screen, easy to use, many functions, several media formats supported
Cons:
no A/V cable included, supplied firmware freezes (just upgrade it), recording volume is too low
The Bottom Line:
As I said before, the D2 is a multifunction mp3 player, with cool touch screen, easy to use interface, great battery life and small enough to carry anywhere.

This is the first PMP (portable multimedia player) device that I've had, and I'm very pleased with all of its features and performance. It does more things than most products out there. With the D2 you can: play music, play videos, listen to FM radio, record voice, record from FM, record audio from line in, view pictures, use a calculator, read text and play flash files (dont really know what thats for).
Its crystal clear sound makes listening to mp3s a nice and pleasant experience, displaying basic song information (artist, album, song name), and its easy to navigate through albums.
The video quality is very smooth and clear, although its 2.5 screen might be rather small for some people. I record TV shows on my computer and transfer them to the D2, and its just like having your own personal TV while riding the bus, waiting in line, etc.
It is controlled mostly via touch screen, which makes it pretty cool, I think. Also, there's no button deterioration other than volume control and menu button. One downside of this system is, when you want to skip to the next song, and the player is in your pocket: you have to take it out, or guess where the virtual button will be. Or you can lock the controls, and set the volume buttons to be navigation buttons (but then you have no volume control).
Battery life is outstanding! I cant say if it really reaches the stated 52 hours of playback time, but if it doesnt it wont be bad enough to disappoint you.
