Garmin nuvi 300 Car GPS Receiver

I have road tested the Garmin nüvi 300 Car GPS Receiver over the past few days, in differing locations, from wide open spaces to built up valley areas. I can say that this GPS performs superbly well and is a front runner for in car satellite navigation, at a great price.

On start up, the screen offers three choices - the chance to view the map, the chance to ask for directions and finally the chance to access the unit's multimedia features in the Travel Pack.

Garmin routing software is very good and easy to use although I personally found the preferences menu a touch confusing - I had to look in the instruction book to find out how to change road preferences for example.

Well worth purchasing!
