great all in one pricey ink cartridges

The Bottom Line: I would recommend this to anyone.
I could not wait to get this printer hot off the assembly line literally. It is awesome. I have a laptop computer and I can print simply at the push of a button. Scanning is even easier. It has a on unit phone book that can store frequently used numbers. The only feature of this unit I really haven't used is the pictobridge. Not because it doesn't work simply because it is not economical to use this printer to make prints from my digital camera/card. I have made prints once or twice on it however and it does exceptional.
The ink cartridges are hard to find, not refillable, and quite costly. It was $54.00 for the black cartridge alone. One tiny gripe or tip the ink indicator states the cartridge needs changed when in fact there is quite a bit of printing still left in it. I discovered that after testing it to see just how far it would go. I do child care out of my home with a preschool program so this printer does heavy duty printing on a daily basis. Once it displayed replace it lasted at least another 4-6 weeks.
Overall I love this printer as close to a copy machine as you can get without the real thing. Faxing is a breeze. Prints exceptionally well.
