64K Print server buffer is too small. Print jobs abort.

Date of Review:  Jan 15, 2007
The Bottom Line: Do you feel lucky? Well do you? Check the compatibility list and buy at your own risk. Or just buy a printer with the print server built in. Be happier.
Review: My printer now only prints the first 25% of any print job (test page included). In order to reprint you have to reboot the print server only to get another partial print. What a pain in the you know what.

Make sure your printer is approved...

Cheapest USB print server I can find

Date of Review:  Jan 31, 2006
The Bottom Line: For a small home network and a budget conscious user, this is the best price I have been able to find. Some frustration with detection/connection at times.
Review: I have a Samsung 1710 laser printer that I wanted to connect to the network to print, instead of having to share it thru one computer. After looking at a lot of prices, I found this one at CompUSA for $9.99 after instant and mail in rebates. So my...

3 THINGS YOU MUST KNOW OF PS121, read review

Date of Review:  Feb 24, 2006
The Bottom Line: Very useful function. I'm pleased to print from all/any of my PC.
Review: First off, a network print server is a MUST-HAVE if you have a Home/Office LAN or Wireless-LAN, an exising USB printer, and several LAN users/PCs that want to share same printer INDEPENDENTLY from each PC.

Ok, 3 THINGS YOU MUST KNOW...

Multi-functional printers not supported by PS121

Date of Review:  Feb 15, 2005
Review: After spending fruitless hours following the installation instructions, giving up on the long wait of phone support, and waiting 2-3 days for e-mail response, Netgear informed me in a terse reply that my Brother MFC-8500 was not on their tested list...

PCS 1350 partially supported

Date of Review:  Jan 21, 2006
The Bottom Line: RTFM (http://www.netgear.com/products/details/PS121.php) before buying this.
Review: The HP 1350 All-in-one printer is partially supported by this print server. I purchased the NetGear PS121 from CompUSA because I wanted to share the USB All-in-one printer with all computers on my LAN. Here are the steps I took to install the HP...
