Looks aint everything

Date of Review:  Jul 8, 2005
Review: Whatever they say first impressions count and as such the Palm Tungsten E really catches the eye. On looks alone this is a winner, but who buys a PDA on looks. Having previously owned (and enjoyed)the impressive T3 I was disappointed by the Es...

Palm

Date of Review:  Jan 8, 2007
Review: I am definitely not what flylady would call a BO (born organized). Far from it. I was forever missing appointments and tearing apart my desk for yellow stickies before I got my palm. Now things are different! I have all of my contact information in...

On a tight budget? This palm will satisfy your needs!

Date of Review:  Jun 6, 2005
The Bottom Line: Would recommend this palm to entry-level palm users, people who aren't going to require a lot of power from their palms. offers a good balance of features and price.
Review: The Palm Tungsten E is the first handheld computing device I've owned. I lusted after the higher priced options, but settled with the Tungsten E as a balance of price and features.

I purchased the Tungsten E for two purposes. One was to...

New to Handhelds? What I Wish I Knew Before Buying a Tungsten|E

Date of Review:  Mar 7, 2004
The Bottom Line: If you're new to handhelds, and need a simple contact list and datebook, get the Zire 21. But for more functionality, more memory, and color, invest in the Tungsten|E.
Review: I bought my PalmOne Tungsten|E about a month ago. Of course, before I made my purchase, I read a variety of reviews at Epinions. While they were all useful, most seemed to be directed toward a different reader: one who is already a handheld computer...

Excellent m515 replacement

Date of Review:  Apr 23, 2005
Review: I loved the m515 for it's size, style, and function but I wanted to get a newer model with a better screen and better capabilities. The Tungsten E was PERFECT! Buy an "open box" unit from the palmOne store online for $160 and get a free hard case...

Palm Tungsten E PDA

Date of Review:  Apr 13, 2005
Review: I've never owned another pda. I bought this one for the sole purpose of running one application- to keep track of my flying as a pilot.
In my research I read that the battery life wasn't the best but assumed that it would work for my purposes...

Service of unit

Date of Review:  Feb 12, 2004
Review: The unit is great. I have no problem with it for the most part. My problem is with Palm itself. I have tried for almost 2 months to correct a problem. I live overseas with the military and they refuse to fix the problem or even to call me back. Both...

2 1/2 years later, and I still love my Tungsten E!

Date of Review:  Nov 4, 2006
The Bottom Line: If you don't need wireless or bluetooth, this PDA can do everything you could possibly want. Why pay more?
Review: If I were a poet, I would write a sonnet about my Tungsten E. I can't live without it.

I bought it 2 1/2 years ago because it was cheap, about $199 at the time, before the Tungsten E2 came out. The longer I have it, the more uses I find...

Tungsten E: Palm's no-frills king of handhelds

Date of Review:  Jan 30, 2004
The Bottom Line: The cheapest of Palm's color-enabled line, this model is a solid handheld that offers everything one requires and none of the extra frills.
Review: In June 2001 I acquired my very first handheld: the Handspring Visor Edge (see my review of it at http://www.epinions.com/content_37165043332) and I realized that PDAs are indeed for me. As soon as it became affordable (if I remember correctly, it...

efficient, affordable organization

Date of Review:  Jan 27, 2004
The Bottom Line: excellent PDA offering expensive content at a low price.
Review: This little Palm came into my possession when I figured out leaving 15 crumpled sheets of paper on my desk, never the one I need, was not the way to go about living. It attracted my attention because of the color screen, the stylish 'tungsten'...
