Standard machine

Pros: great picture, plays DivX well

This machine gives a great picture through the HDMI, and plays Divx very well. Besides, the USB port is good and does support hard drives however the current provided isn't enough for my 2.5" SATA one so I had to use an external supply. Unfortunately, the Philips DVDR5500 DVD Recorder freezes at times. The multiple function of this machine are very positive, but sporadically they don’t work well.

All in all, I can suggest this machine, but have to warn the consumer that some little problems might emerge!
