Great pocket camera

Date of Review:  Oct 21, 2004
The Bottom Line: Small, fast, and reasonably cheap: This is a great camera for anyone looking for a sub-compact, go-anywhere camera with lots of features and an optical zoom.
Review: I've only had this camera for a few days but it appears to be a great little camera. It's an incredibly small camera considering it has a 3x optical zoom and the new processor makes it really fast, whether at startup or between photos. I mean REALLY...

You get exactly what you pay for: size!

Date of Review:  Apr 20, 2005
The Bottom Line: SD200 is a decent camera for straight point and shot in good light only. No advanced controls.
Review: I have been a digital camera enthusiast for longest time ever. I had owned Canon PowerShot S200, S320, S400 and SD200 from the PowerShot family.

Here is my story with SD200. I was amazed by the camera's overall size, feel and fit. Because...

Bravo! Stupendous!

Date of Review:  Aug 17, 2007
Review: We were extremely happy with the camera--so much so that our younger daughter bought one. After three years of very hard use the focus stopped working (the day of my son's wedding, naturally). Later my wife called Canon. They sent a prepaid mailer...

Good camera when it came out but now there are better options

Date of Review:  Mar 7, 2007
The Bottom Line: I love this camera and will get a new Canon digital Elph whenever this one ends up dying.
Review: I love my Canon SD200! But then, I bought it almost three years ago now, when it costs somewhere around $300 and was one of the smallest, with one of the largest screens, some of the best mega-pixel capabilities and some of the coolest fuctions. All...

Great little camera

Date of Review:  Apr 11, 2005
The Bottom Line: A great choice if you want a high-quality ultracompact camera for your vacation photos.
Review: This is a great little camera. It's about the size of a deck of cards and takes excellent pictures over a wide variety of conditions, including daylight outdoor scenes, indoor flash pictures, night-time scenes, and close-ups of small objects. You...

My first digital camera and it is great

Date of Review:  Mar 1, 2005

A Small, easy to use everyday camera for everyone

Date of Review:  Nov 1, 2004
The Bottom Line: The best camera for novice. It is hard to make a bad picture with this camera.
Review: It is silly to discuss premium picture quality in this point-and-shoot class. The purpose of these small, easy-to-use cameras is user friendly and good picture quality.

The 4.0 megapixel SD300 will be released to market at early December...
