Mediocre printer, but still great value.

The Bottom Line: If you need a basic network printer for light-duty use and don't mind trying to figure out how to setup the printer yourself, consider the Samsung 2251N.
Review: I have only been using this printer for less than a week, so I cannot comment on the long term performance of this printer. However, my initial impressions is that this printer represents one of the best values out there.

Excellent Entry Level Laser

Review: The printer does an all around great job. It replaced a 12 year old HP Laser printer. Straight through paper path is usable. I don't care for the center aligned style, but it works. Once warmed up it is very fast.

Promises a lot, delivers little

Review: I've had the printer for a month and it has been nothing but trouble!! Lots of paper jams, poor quality printing, streaks, light areas. Maybe someting is wrong with the toner cartdrige? I don't know. Customer support was not a help.

Review: Printed failed after one year doing a loud and strange noise at initialization.

Start printing the first line at a different vertical position (about 3 mm) than my HP IV (driver problem?). Have to adjust all forms templates.

The Bottom Line: Don't just consider initial costs, look at operating costs. If you have substantial text printing needs and a limited budget, this is your printer.

Terrible print quality, unreliable, flimsy quality of construction, bad support

The Bottom Line: Do not buy this printer, or in fact, any Samsung product. This printer alone is terrible, but Samsung's product support is the worst.
Review: This is, hands down, the single worst printer I've ever experienced in over 10 years in the IT industry. Here's just a few of the reasons why:

->Overheats

->Paper feed jams *constantly*

->No duplex, manual or otherwise...

Great Entry Level Laser Printer

The Bottom Line: This is a Good deal for some one needing a cheap yet good printer.
Review: I have a Lexmark T420d, but when my father's home business required a Laser printer, I supplied him this Samsung unit.

I chose this printer because of the current Manufacturer's rebate that brought this printer $60 down in price.

The Bottom Line: I like the printer despite the noise because it is less expensive to use and prints plenty fast for me, but I am not a "power user" either...
