Very nice combination, fast pda & nice phone

I have had this phone a month now and love it. I was in the market for a new cell phone and also a PDA, but didn't really want to carry both. This device is the best of both worlds and really doesn't compromise in either area.

Note that I have the most recent ROM 1.40 which fixes many problems I had previously experienced. This is released on club-imate, the clubimate.com site is amazing for support, they offer forums and updates all for free with your new device. I have had great response to their email and their forum support.

Some of my observations
-Great speakerphone. Has a slight echo for the other party but that is fixed by turning the volume down.
-Fast, as fast as any recent PPC.
-Lots of RAM and ROM for expansion. 128MB RAM and 64MB ROM (~44mb available for your programs)
-WIFI is excellent, plus you can network sync with Activesync 3.8, great feature
-Bluetooth works flawlessly, and using it for Activesync is wonderful
-Installing applications work just as with any PPC device, very easy. Runs all PPC apps that work with Intel based PPCs (almost all of them)
-Installing J2ME (phone JAVA games, etc.) applications is very simple and painless
-I haven't tried a bluetooth headset or GPS unit so I can't say much about how they work with bluetooth.
-I have had some problems that I have also experienced on regular PPC with resets using Pocket Excel (this was fixed by the 1.40 upgrade).
-I have also had some problems with calls, this has happened 3 times and when it does there is no sound on the call at all. This issue is fixed with the 1.40 upgrade
-For voice dialing you need something from your provider or you have to buy MS Voice Command. MS Voice command is a great application and works without training but costs ~30.

All in all this is a great product with great support, I would highly recommend this phone/pda.
