Canons new EF 24mm f/1.4L Ultrasonic lens is sure to become an indispensable tool for news photographers and professional photojournalists who demand fast, reliable and high-quality wide-angle lenses. Constructed completely from lead-free glass, its the first EF lens to include Replicated Aspherical and Ultra-low dispersion lens elements. The former works to suppress image distortion and spherical aberrations, while the latter dramatically reduces lateral chromatic aberrations which are often observed with wideangle lenses. The result is a remarkably high-resolution, distortion-free image over the entire focusing image of the lens. Less
The Sigma 50mm f/1.4 EX DG HSM Autofocus Lens is a standard lens that provides a large maximum aperture of f/1.4. It is the ideal prime lens for use with all Canon digital or film SLR cameras.
